Rio De Janeiro
Eliška Kuchynková
Rio De Janeiro. Why this city you may ask? It's simple. This city is amazing! The beaches, parks, forests. All in all the nature there is incredible. There are also a lot of monuments, museums and a breathtaking carnival which is very famous all around the world.
For two weeks every February, Carnival turns Rio into the party capital of the world. The city explodes into a riot of color, music and dancing, with nearly every person in Rio getting involved. The best place to watch carnival is at the Sambadrome, where samba schools dance in costumes and imaginative floats led by drummers and bands. Tickets are usually about 45 US dollars to 1,655 US depending where you sit. I would love to see the carnival in real life. All I saw are just photos and videos and I think the experience must be amazing.

Rio De Janeiro has some extraordinary parks too. The city is surrounded by mountains and sea, that means that there are plenty of untouched green spaces to explore and get any from it all. Tijuca Forest National Park, just at the back of the city, is home to the world's largest urban rainforest with hiking, waterfalls, birdwatching and vista points of Rio's iconic sights. You can visit Serra de Carioca which are huge mountains. I think these places can be really interesting to explore when you like hiking and nature.
Beaches and sea. Rio's beaches are famous all around the world. The most famous beach is Praia de Copacabana which is really big and beautiful. Ipanema, in one of the city's wealthiest neighbourhoods, offers an altogether more sophisticated experience, with its chic boutiques and glamorous restaurants.
I really hope one day I will visit this wonderful city and I hope you got to know more about Rio because of this chapter.
