Alexei Navalny is a Russian opposition leader, lawyer, anti-corruption activist and organizer of anti-government demonstrations.

In August 2020 Navalny was poisoned and Hospitalized in Berlin. Alexei Navalny thinks that Vladimir Putin is responsible for this attack. He was discharged from the hospital a month later.

On the 17th of January he returned to Russia. Later that day he was detained on accusations of violating parole conditions, and by the verdict he will spend two and a half years in prison.
