On Sunday November 20th 2022 in Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles was already 50th anniversary of American Music Awards (AMA).

This year's moderator was an American actor, scriptwriter, dubber and singer Wayne Brady, who you can know from serial "How I Met Your Mother".

A lot of celebrities like David Guetta and Bebe Rexha, Dove Cameron or Imagine Dragons sang their songs that night, but singer Pink sang also an unforgettable hit Hopelessly Devoted To You to honor Olivia Newton-John, who died on August 8th this year of breast cancer.
And then was time for the awards. For example the legendary Lionel Richie, who is the only artist who stood on the podium every decade strating with the 70's, received this year's Icon Award.
Harry Styles won favorite male pop star award and with song "As It Was" also award for favorite pop song.

Award for new artist of the year won Dove Cameron, who has released two big hits this year as are Boyfriend and Breakfast.
Also the winners of last year's Eurovision, band Måneskin, haven't left empty-handed. They've won favorite rock song with their cover version of song "Beggin".
But the real star of the evening was no one else, that Taylor Swift herself. This year she was nominated for six awards and she won all of them. And that was in categories: artist of the year, favorite country album with her album "Red", favorite music video with "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)", favorite female pop artist, favorite pop album with "Red" and favorite female country artist. With these six awards is the total count of her AMA awards already on number 40 which makes her the most-awarded artist in the 50-year history of AMA'S.
