Anxiety

Fear, heart beating extremely fast, breathlessness, feeling of the coming cry, maybe even a little nausea. These are the symptoms of anxiety. Most people probably experienced it, because it is the natural physical reaction to stress. And avoiding stress is not really possible in modern society.
However some studies have shown that our anxiety today is not impacted only by the modern society standards but also, by our gene heritage. The people today are usually descendants of the anxious. They were in constant stress and observation. Therefore, they were aware of any danger and survived. So, it is not strange that people today are usually anxious or stressed. Stress can be beneficial in some situations and can lead to higher productivity. Anxiety on the other hand can be unhealthy, dangerous or even life threatening.
Again, anxiety is a natural reaction to stress therefore, its appearance in stressful situations is quite normal. It is only a temporary condition that disappears when the situation ends. However there is also permanent anxiety. The main difference here is that this permanent condition is not temporary of course but also it is unfounded, it does not have any obvious reason. This is usually a case of the anxiety disorder and should be treated professionally.
How do you know it is a medical condition? Another huge difference is that there are not just physical symptoms with this type of anxiety but also many mental ones. The pressure appears in the form of toxic thoughts too that affects your healthy self-confidence and mental health in general.
The effect anxiety has on mental health and therefore on the life of a person suffering from it is enormous and very dangerous. It can lead to total loss of both physical and mental health. Periodically repeating anxiety leads to damage of the cardiovascular, immune and respiratory system, which are basically the systems keeping us alive. Therefore, gambling with anxiety is not very reasonable.
The main problem with anxiety is that in our society it is not usually taken seriously. Everyone has it, it is not unusual and we need to cope with it by ourselves. But this is not true. It is not just a stress, it is a life threatening mental condition which leads to various health complications and we need to remember that.
