I think everyone has heard of Queen Elizabeth II. She is the longest-reigning monarch in British history. How do you think her daily routine looks like? Is it like living in heaven or it's the worst nightmare? How to act when meeting her? All this and even more you will know after reading this. So without further ado, let's get to it.
I know it's rude to mention a women's age, but in this case, it's more like a compliment. The Queen is 95 years old but still a busy bee. Her morning starts at 7.30 am with an unusual alarm clock: bagpipers are playing on the terrace below her Buckingham Palace apartment. She then moves on to breakfast, which normally involves just a simple cup of tea and biscuits, followed by a bowl of cereal.
Then comes paperwork and meeting time which can take many hours. When speaking of the paperwork, did you know you can write a letter to Buckingham Palace? Many people have done it and they even got a response. Of course, it is very rare to get an answer from the queen herself, but I think it's worth giving it a try. If you are wondering, how the Queen keeps herself so fit. She likes to keep her carbs to a minimum. Instead, she prefers a simple fish-and-veggie dish for her midday meal at around 1 pm. She tends to eat alone, but Philip, her husband, used to join her once a month for an informal lunch reception with guests.
In the afternoons she enjoys her leisure time and hobbies. Don't think about some special activities. She likes taking her dogs for a walk and photographing. In the early evening, she studies reports of the day's parliamentary proceedings and on Wednesdays has an audience with the Prime Minister.
Before bed, the Queen relaxes with her favorite television programs. According to reports from Metro, she is a big fan of The X Factor, which means she was likely delighted to shake hands with the members from One Direction in 2012.

So what do you think? Would you be up for changing your daily routine with the Queen?
