Canada is home to the most famous and prestigious hockey league in the world, the National Hockey League.
There are currently seven Canadian teams in the League. Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leaves, Vancouver Canucks and Winnipeg Jets.
The most successful team in NHL history is the Montreal Canadiens with 24 titles.

This season is coming to an end. It's already in the semi-finals, and the only hope for Canada are the Edmonton Oilers as they are the only Canadian team remaining as Calgary Flames were eliminated in the quarter finals.
