Crazy Story From The Museum!

An amazing cast, great effects, outstanding music … that is Night at the Museum in short. Directed by Shawn Levy with brilliant actor Ben Stiller starring in the role of a very determined protagonist - Larry Daley. This combo creates a wonderful action comedy with unexpected twists and turns, which will stay in your head forever.

The whole story revolves around a man, Larry, who tries to put his life back together after a divorce with his wife Erica. She urges him to find a stable job if he still wants to see his son and because of that he takes every job he can find. Out of desperation, he takes a job as a night guard at the American Museum of Natural History, where he meets the retiring guards Cecil Frederick and his colleagues Gus and Reginald. As they give him instructions for the night, it seems that they have forgotten to tell him a crucial thing: he should take the warning "not to let anything in or out" quite literally. He has no idea what is going to happen… And even if he did, he wouldn't believe it.

Overall, the film features excellent storytelling, unforgettable songs, and memorable moments, making it extremely enjoyable. Also, the background of the American Museum of Natural History is very realistic. However, the building used for filming is in British Columbia, though the differences are hardly noticeable. The only one that we found is that in the real American Museum of Natural History, they have two dinosaurs instead of one.

To sum up, we recommend watching this film mainly for its humor. In our view it is better to watch this film in English because you would get greater experiences. Even though this film was made in 2006 you won't miss out on anything. If you like it, you'll be pleased to know that there are two more sequels (Battle of the Smithsonian and Secret of the Tomb). We hope you will enjoy it!
