Here we go again, let´s help others! I guess that this humanitarian non-profit organization, also known by the abbreviation ,,MSF´´, everyone of you know, or you´ve somewhere heard about it. I would say that also in Czech Republic this organization is really famous and a lot of people speak about it. But did you know, that this organization has originated in France and it´s original name is ,,Médecins Sans Frontières´´? And that this organization was founded by French doctors and journalists? It's interesting, isn't it?

Doctors Without Borders provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. Their teams are made up of tens of thousands of health professionals, logistic and administrative staff - most of them hired locally. Their actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality. They work in more than 70 countries, Doctors Without Borders provides medical humanitarian assistance to save lives and ease the suffering of people in crisis situations. Most in Asia, Africa, India and South America. Recent events were e.g. yellow fever vaccine, help with the Lebanon crisis and the fight against dying in Mali.
As I said, Doctors Without Borders was founded by a group of French doctors and journalists in response to the Nigerian Civil War. The founders of the organization believed that everyone has the right to receive crisis medical care, regardless of race, religion or political beliefs, and that a person's needs take precedence over the country's borders.
These workers and even more people, they put their lives into saving the lives of others and help on a daily basis.
