Dream - Cheater or God of Luck?

Dream is an American youtuber most known for his Minecraft speedrun content. He definitely isn't the best speedrunner of Minecraft in the world, but thanks to him many people now know about speedrunning games. These people are trying to complete the game in the shortest possible time. There are plenty of games that are good for speedrunning. Minecraft wasn't one of them until the new version 1.16.5 came out. Still, it is mostly about luck in the game, so it doesn't depend only on your skill. Dream is well known for his enormous luck in the game. Even though you know it is acted, his videos are very funny and entertaining.

When you think you are really good and there is no way to improve your skills, it can be kind of frustrating that you don't have enough luck to beat someone who has and yet is actually worse than you. So people cheat in games. It isn't anything uncommon. Dream was accused of cheating and then he was investigated by a major speedrun website. They concluded that his version of the game was modified to make a bigger chance of obtaining certain items that were crucial for the game to end. They found out that the chances were 1 in 7.5 billion. They deleted his speedrun record on the leaderboard where he was placed fifth.

I would recommend everyone: don't cheat in any computer game when you are playing it professionally or you are somehow famous, it can damage your image.
