Every group has someone who is like a mother of them all and here it is definitely Monica Geller. She is the second girl in the show. She is played by Courteney Cox.

I think that nobody´s personality is as straight as hers. She is a chef in a restaurant but she is also very bossy in real life. She is kinda like a mother, she really takes care of others. She is a big perfectionist and obsessive-compulsive nature, she cleans up her apartment every day, she hates mess. Sometimes it is unbelievable, for example if she sees a really dirty car she cleans it up (and the car is even not hers). She is definitely a housewife and if you are her roommate you are very lucky because she does every housework by herself. She is very competitive and if she is not right she is very angry. But most of the time she is right, like I said she is just like a mother. Sometimes she is kinda annoying because of her competitiveness and exaggerated care of tidiness, but she is still so kind and adorable. She would do anything for others.

Like I have said before, she is the mother/chef of the group. She united them all. She lets Rachel live with her, they have been best friends since childhood. When Monica was young she was overweight, she really loved food and because of that she became a cook and then a chef. She worked in many restaurantes, sometimes she had to work as a waitress. She is a really good cook so she cooks for everybody all the time. She is also a host, she likes to organize events, celebrations and stuff like that. She is someone that holds the group together.

She is Ross's sister and their parents are in the show the most (aside from other parents). Something that is painful for her is a fact that their parents behave like that they prefer Ross and she is less favourite. Of course it is not true but it looks like it.

Monica´s first serious relationship is with Richard, a long-time family friend, so he is more than 20 years older than her. But she is crazy in love with him, she feels that this is what she wants and what is right. They maintain a strong relationship until Richard expresses that he does not want children, because he is too old for it and he already has children.

To surprise she starts a relationship with Chandler! In first seasons they are super good friends but in the final of the fourth season they spend the night together, initially it looks like a flirt and both of them think that they will just sleep together and that's it. But they start to date and have a real commitment. When they started together they didn't want their friends to know, so they dated secretly, but then it is official and later they get married. And they even adopt twins.
