Friends - 6 people that are inseparable, they live together, see each other every single day and are more important for each other than theirs own families. Can you imagine to be with other 5 people every day? Or that your friends become your family? Is it your dream or a nightmare?

The show revolves around them in their 20s and 30s, these 6 people live in Manhattan, New York City and just spend time together. The main 6 characters are Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Monica (Courteney Cox), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Ross (David Schwimmer). Ross and Monica are siblings.

Their most favourite activity is to drink coffee in café named Central Perk that is in the house where they live. And in this house are 2 apartments across the hall, in one live Rachel and Monica and in the second live Joey with Chandler, Phoebe and Ross live in their own apartments elsewhere, but they are always at Monica´s and Rachel´s place as others. They figure out normal problems, spend a lot of time together and just live the lives of the young people. It looks like that they don´t go to the work, because they are really almost all the time at home together or drink coffee from big cups and sitting on the most comfortable orange sofa (that is known by the whole world) at Central Perk.

Friends are worldwide known American TV show, created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, which aired on NBC from 1994 to 2004. Filming of the show took place at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California.

The whole series has 10 seasons and 236 episodes and each season is different, in the first ones they are so young and cute and inexperienced, they are trying to have good relationships but there is always something why it doesn't work out, they are trying to find a job that they will enjoy and just live with their friends, but then they grow up and they built their lives, find real love and commitment and even have children.

It is a comedy, so there are jokes, funny moments and people laugh all the time. There is a real audience, so the laughing voices that we hear are real, not created like in other sitcoms.

It is a really worldwide popular series and I think that there is nobody that has never heard about it. It also won many awards, for example it was nominated for 62 Primetime Emmy Awards and winning six, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow are the ones that won Emmy. Then the show won the Golden Globe award and then many other awards.

Interesting fact is that the series finale was watched by around 52,5 million American viewers, making it the fifth most-watched series finale in television history, and the most-watched television episode of the 2000s decade. And it was screened at Times Square.
