Is there a possibility of an arrangement of the Czech Republic GP?

"Max Verstappen rounds the final corner and wins the Czech GP."

Nice dream, but now let's jump back to reality. Formula 1 is one of the most prestigious sports on Earth at the moment with just a few venues in whole year. Is it really possible for Czech Republic to host the F1 Grand Prix?

Firstly, let's start with the realistic options. Czechia has many racing circuits which host races of different categories. To illustrate the situation, Brno will host the MotoGP series onwards from the 2025 year. And to be honest - Brno would definitely be an interesting circuit to host a F1 Grand Prix! The track is with it's 15 meters wide enough and is quite unique because it has de facto no low-speed corners with 90 degrees and for me personally is very imaginable to have even 5 DRS zones there! Yes, there might not be any long straight with the only overtaking opportunity, however other DRS zones would balance this deficit. That would be also the difference from the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. During the MotoGP races, Brno used to have one of the best attendances in whole calendar with around 240 thousand visitors thoughout the weekend. In 2015! The biggest issue of the Brno circuit is the lack of needed facilities. Brno is missing high-quality grand stands all around the track what definitely improve the standarts of the track. The parc fermé and pit lane would need a modernisation as well with some run-off areas. Other existing circuit in Czechia is located in Most, nonetheless it is not as popular as the Brno one.

Furthermore, let's play with thoughts. In computer game called Asseto Corsa exist a modified mode with street circuit in the capital city of Czechia - Prague! Recently, Liberty Media loved to see new street circuits in the calendar, apperantly because the city had to pay solid fees to host such an event. However, the fictional street circuit is very interesting. Besides going up to hill in the Hradčany district and crossing the streets in the city centre, drivers would cross also the famous Charles Bridge. Honestly, Formula 1 on the Charles Bridge is not completely out of imagination. Red Bull put the RB7 car driven by David in 2021 while adversing Czechoslovakia. This video was very succesfull not only among Czech and Slovakian citizens, nevertheless, we have to say that the Grand Prix in Prague is unimaginable. The streets are too narrow, including the Charles Bridge, which essentially screws up any opportunity for overtaking right there and most importantly, the city council would have to pay extraterrestrial amount of money to organize the race.

In conclusion, there is one another possibility in bringing the F1 to Bohemia but it is probably the least possible one. We can build a brand new F1 circuit. And when I say "we", I mean by that a wealthy businessmans who might have some interest on receiving wealth from the organization. However, that is very unlikely to happen, especially because in order to build a new track, we would need a Czech Formula 1, because Formula 1 have a passion for putting the races into countries with their own driver in Formula 1. Nonetheless, if we improve Brno circuit, it should be enough in my opinion. Shortly, building a new F1 circuit in the Czech Republic is unnecessary.
