Every morning I was waking up unmotivated. Classes, exercising, everything was making me sick. Even the thoughts about how many weeks or even months I was supposed to suffer through this were slowly throwing me into insanity. Until it finally happened...

One day I was left home alone, thus I had been forced to prepare my lunch on my own. In the depths of our "recipe cupboard" I found an indian cookbook. This booklet provided me with a recipe for pea dhal. After I had found all required ingredients, I started cooking.

I used to be bad at chopping onions, but that day it felt like a child's play. Mixing and frying onions, garlic and spices was easy and everything but time consuming. The main issue was boiling rice and peas. It took ages, I would say it was even interminable. The smell of indian spices was as strong as you would expect. It slowly spreaded all over the whole kitchen and soothened my annoyance.

Suddenly, I realized my english lesson was about to begin and my rice wasn't ready at all. At the end of this rather inconvenient situation I ended up finishing my bowl of spicy heaven throughout my online lesson. Some of you might be shocked by this mischievous act, but for a starving person there's no other option.

Even though I had finished my lunch during my class, I still enjoyed it, and, most importantly, I finally found cooking - an activity I enjoy. All of this cooking, eating and breaking the rules gave me the thought that sometimes you need to be slightly naughty to be happy...
