Microsoft is an American company headquartered in Redmond, Washington. It develops, manufactures, licenses and supports a wide range of products and services that are closely related to computers. It was founded on April 4, 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen. In the mid-1980s, it began to dominate the home computer operating system market with the Microsoft Windows series of operating systems.

ENVIRONMENT

Greenpeace ranked Microsoft 17th (which is a pretty good result for such a big company) in comparison of eighteen electronics manufacturers with regard to access to toxic chemicals, recycling and global warming. The company uses alternative sources in transport, where they have created one of the largest private bus systems, called "the Connector", and for campus transportation it uses Shuttle Connect, a large number of hybrid cars. As an incentive, Microsoft supports regional public transport.

So, we could say that Microsoft is "environment friendly".
