Czech National Magazine Award in Brno

Our GPJP TIMES group of special envoys was sent to Brno in early train from Prague and with motivation and sleep deprivation, we set off. After the long way on the train with mysterious creatures who go off the train with us in Brno we had the finish in reach. After few stops in the legendary Šalina we stood in front of the Katedra mediálních studií a žurnalistiky of Masaryk's university in Brno (Muni) in no time.

After going in, we were amazed by the number of students that came from all parts of the Czech Republic in order to claim their award ranging from primary/elementary school all the way to secondary/high school. We already knew that the results will be super close but we have never had even a small thought about failure and we wanted to beat the magazine of our former pal's (Boček/Agassi) school called Restart. And so, we did.

After taking part in various presentations and debates we ended up in front of the director of the competition that told us the results. You could really slice the tense in the air as he was telling the results to the audience. As the number 10 passed all the way to number 5 we were already happy but it wasn't enough for our beloved and SRPŠ sponsored GPJP TIMES. After all, our prestigious magazine received an award for the 3rd best online-school magazine in the whole Republic which is an incredible step forward and great feedback to our work.

As a team we tried to get some inspiration and learn more about what to do better and we want to improve our work and get to the highest level possible. It is our vision to say one day: We are the best magazine and we won't let you down.

Our team is full of special personalities and we motivate each other to better results, so don't hesitate and join our team on the journey to the top. It is not only possible thanks to the students and all teachers who help us to write better but also the SRPŠ to which owe a big THANKS!
