The most dangerous track of all time

The eleventh race of previous F1 season happened on Nürburgring track and we have not seen many collisions, but anyway there were a few of them and really close moments. We saw how the most experienced driver on the grid right now, Lewis Hamilton, with 323 race starts, the most in history of F1, crashed in one of the least experienced drivers, George Rusell. George has been racing in F1 since 2019, he didn't get any points until now, but he is really good at driving, he won the Formula 2 championship, but he doesn't have a car competitive enough to race other teams. But enough about the drivers, I wanted to talk about the famous Nürburgring track.

This track is the one that Niki Lauda crashed at. The story of this race is really interesting, I do not know if you have seen the movie Rush, but it is nicely explained there. Lauda wanted to cancel the race, because of heavy rain, but all the drivers needed to vote and by one vote they did not cancel it. When the race was happening Lauda was in the lead but part of his suspension failed, then he crashed and he could not get out of his car, but he was lucky and survived and raced three races later. Racing at this track was declared as too dangerous, after a few years the track was remade and was raced at again. But in 2013 big reform in the F1 calendar happened and Nürburgring did not get through the vote. it is dangerous by its surface and turns.
