This article will be about the film awards. I mentioned them when I was talking about the best actors, actresses or directors. Thanks to these awards it is possible to determine who is the best actor, actress, director, etc. or which film or series is the most worthy award. So it is a real honor to win an Oscar, because if an actor wins an Oscar, it's the same as when some scientist wins a Nobel Prize. And the Golden Globe is probably the second best award you can win if you work in the film industry.

Oscar, otherwise called Academy Awards, are awards for artistic and technical merit in the film industry. It is regarded as the most famous and prestigious awards in the entertainment industry. Given annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, assessed by the Academy's voting membership. The various category winners are awarded a copy of a golden statuette as a trophy. The ceremony is one of the most important cultural events in Hollywood. Oscars have been awarded at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles since 2002. Golden Globe Award is a film and television award given by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in Los Angeles. The awards are considered the most important guide to the upcoming distribution of the Film Oscars. The prize was first awarded in 1944.

And now some fun facts. Meryl Streep holds the record in acting categories, winning eight times and nominating twenty-two times. The youngest holder was Ricky Schroeder, who won the actor of the year, he was nine years old. The oldest is actor Christopher Plummer, he was 82 years old when he won the Globe. And there were scandals too.
