Space music

People say that music is a universal language. We can, of course, talk about different genres and what they are trying to express, but what we don't notice is the place in which an artist wrote or performed his masterpiece.

What if I told you that an entire album was produced in space? In the universe? You wouldn't believe me, right? That is why I wanted to share a story about a man who achieved this crazy task.

Christofer Hadfield, who also happened to be the first Canadian in space (in 1995), began his "musical space career" with an acoustic guitar cover of the Space Oddity by David Bowie. He recorded an entire music clip on the International Space Station.

In 2015 he has been "floating in a tin can" for 144 days straight and managed to record a whole album named Space Session: Songs For a Tin Can containing 11 original songs, including one of the most famous - Big Smoke, Feet Up and Beyond the Terra.

So if you ever feel like you cannot do something again, think about the guy who composed an entire music masterpiece in space.
