The toughest race of all

You may think you can't really choose the toughest race but I am sure, that deep in your mind you think of Monaco. Formula 1 was racing in Monaco from 20th of May till 23rd of May this year. The first thing that you can see is the unusual weekend program. On normal weekends you have two Friday practice sessions, another practice session and qualifying on Saturday and then the race. But in Monaco the practice sessions are moved to Thursday, because this is tradition there, I am not really sure, but it was because of some sort of holiday for Monegasque people. Also, the hotels and restaurants have to make some stocks, so they won't run out of food on sunday. You can really get anywhere much in Monaco, when it's the race weekend, because all the streets are pretty much blocked all the time.

But let's get to the reason why it is the hardest one. It is mostly because you need to be concentrated all the time and if you are not, then you crash into a barrier. There ain't any track limits revision by the stewards, only in three turns, because if you exceed track limits in other turns in Monaco you get penalised by the barrier and the damage. Also, people who watch F1 for more years than one, you should know that qualifying in Monaco is the most important on the race calendar. In Monaco, you can't overtake that much, so the starting position is the most important thing. After that, the next important thing is strategy, sometimes you can get through the pack by under or overcutting. Of course the race alone is hard, because of one little mistake you can end the race for you.
