Tokyo is the capital city of Japan. This monstrosity of a city is located in the Kanto region on Honshu, on the main island of Japan. Tokyo comprises 26 cities and 23 special wards like Nakano, Shibuya and Shinjuku. The city alone has a capacity of 13 960 236 citizens and the whole prefecture includes more than 37 million residents. Tokyo is the economic and political center of the country. In 2020, it ranked 4th on the Global Financial centres Index behind New York, London and Shanghai.

Tokyo is also a place of many beautiful and interesting sights. It has the world's tallest tower Tokyo Skytree. There's a Tokyo Imperial Palace built on the site of the old Edo Castle in Chiyoda ward. In Shibuya ward there's the most famous crossing in the world: Shibuya crossing, which is famous for its sheer size. There's also the immensely beautiful temple Senso-ji located in Taito city, which is almost at the center of Tokyo. It is Tokyo's oldest and most significant buddhist temple.

Tokyo is also known for its nightlife and services. Especially the Shibuya district which is a large commercial and cultural hub. And for the manga fans there's a JoJo themed bar in Nakano city: JoJo-style bar DIO, where you can get drinks and food based on your favourite characters.
