,,UNICEF
works in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, to defend
their rights, and to help them fulfil their potential, from early childhood
through adolescence. And we never give up."
I guess everybody knows UNICEF, at least from the commercial. I think it's really useful to know more about this fund, because there is a better chance that some of you will start helping and send money there. Or you can tell your parents about it and they can start sending money, because we are just students after all:)

It is the world's largest organization dedicated to protecting and improving the living conditions of children worldwide. UNICEF works with partners around the world to promote policies and expand access to services that protect all children. Their other motto is: ,,Every child has the right to grow up in a safe and inclusive environment." UNICEF's programs focus on helping children in all areas that adversely affect their quality of life and the development of their potential - children's health, nutrition, access to clear water, hygiene, AIDS prevention and treatment, education and protection from child abuse and exploitation of any kind. UNICEF's work is funded exclusively by voluntary donor contributions. 90% of the funds raised go to programs to help and support children. UNICEF strictly controls the costs of its programs.
In 37 developed countries, including Czech Republic, there are so-called national committees for UNICEF, which have the task of popularizing children's rights and raising funds for UNICEF's activities in developing countries. All of us can help and send them some money. Even a small amount of money can help. It's so easy, you can just go on their website and there you can become ,,A friend of children unicef´´ and contribute regularly. Or you can contribute one-time and then you can choose how you want to help next.
