Wales - Place From a Fairytale

Even though Wales is located right next to England its culture is totally different. I
would say it is more like Northern Ireland. Wales is generally a mountainous and rural
country on the western side of Great Britain. The capital and the largest city is
Cardiff. What you may not know is that in this city was primarily filmed Doctor Who
and Sherlock. So next time you watch these shows don't forget to notice the beauty of
Cardiff.

Now let's move from the capital city and focus on the land. If you are a fan of castles, Disney castles, and fairy tales, Wales is definitely the place to go. You could visit different castle every day for a year and still not see them all. The only thing, which might be a bit difficult, is the transport. Of course, you can move from place to place by bus or train. But much better for exploring is to rent a car or a bike. This allows you to travel everywhere you want because Wales has many beautiful hidden places such as Porth Iago- Whoa! that is a really weird name, that doesn't sound like English at all right? Well, guess what, it is not the English language. Welsh people still primarily use the Welsh language.

  If you are thinking "I understand English I will also understand Welsh, it has to be the same as the Czech vs. Slovakian language" You have no idea how wrong you are.

and it's a name of a village. But don't be afraid, you don't have to learn this language
if you wanna visit the country, they still can speak English.

Now you are asking, what would you do as a local? Welsh people are known to have
two great passions - rugby and singing - and when they congregate for a rugby
match, you won't be able to stop them from breaking into singing. No way you'd be bored there.

The last topic of this chapter is the weather. Do not complain about the rain in
Wales! You can't avoid it there. But let's take it from the better side, nature could
never be so green and beautiful without the rain!!!
