Well, I have written many articles about non-profit organizations, which help people in need, due to some disaster, children in need, due to some illness or nonexistence of their parents, and nature with wild animals or environment. But I have never written something about lonely, abused or abandoned pets. So...here it is.

In case you would like to have a new pet at home, or just help at some dog shelter, here is an article about DOGPOINT. As I said, it helps abandoned and abused dogs not only find a home, but also prepare them for this "new" life. The shelter will provide these dogs with temporary asylum, cover them with their care and help them resocialize and prepare for integration into new families. All workers are enthusiastic dog lovers. They are interested in news in the field of breeding, training, nutrition and general care of dogs. But as every non-profit organization, they will be really grateful for your help. And the dogs? They will be even happier. Here we come to the best part, because there are plenty of ways you can help!!!

Firstly, you can donate money of course. You can donate an amount of money, the cost is up to you, once or monthly, and it mainly helps pay for operative and veterinary interventions. You can also send just a DMS and donate 30, 60 or 90 crowns. The second option is to buy something for yourself or your dog in their eshop. The money from that is used for care of the dogs. There is also another option, you can become a volunteer and do walks with dogs from this shelter. You need to make an online reservation and you can go for a walk. You can do it any day instead of Monday and if you are younger than 15, you also need someone older than 18 to come with you. If you are between 15 and 18, you just need the signed consent of your parents. I think this is a really nice way to help, because it is just about one or two hours of your free time and you will do a really good deed. And finally, you can adopt a dog! If you liked one of their dogs, go see it without obligation. Take him for a walk and get to know him more personally than you can see from the photos. During the visit, the guardians will introduce you to the dog's story (if they know him), describe his behavior and, in fact, everything you will need.

There are really many ways to help the dogs and their guardians. Everyone of us can do a small good deed and help others.

Don´t wait, DONATE!<3
