Friends - Ross

The smart one that cares and loves very much. It is Ross Geller, the last boy from the show and, overall, the last character I want to talk about. He´s played by David Schwimmer.

He is a paleontologist working at the Museum of Natural History, and later, he works as a professor of paleontology at New York University. By that, you can see that he is really smart and he is very passionate about dinosaurs. He lives near the gang, firstly in some apartment that we don't know where exactly is and later in a building opposite the main apartments.

He is Monica's older brother. When they were children, they didn't like each other that much, but now they have a really good bond. Ross is the favourite child of their parents, and sometimes it is annoying. As I said in previous chapters, Ross and Monica have known Chandler and Rachel from the years of their high school and university era. And Ross has had a big crush on Rachel since these times, but he never had the courage to tell her because she was the most popular girl, and he was shy and not that well known.

However, when Rachel moves to Monica's, he sees her every day and now they are very good friends. So he attempts to declare his feelings to her. Initially, there were some obstacles, but then they started to date, which is amazing! I personally adore their relationship; it's my favourite one of all the relationships in the show. But they also broke up, then they returned to each other, and it's like that all the time. They have an on-again, off-again relationship.

I have to mention his three very successful marriages. Firstly he got married to Carol, who was lesbian, but when they divorced, Carol found out that she was pregnant. So in the first season, he is a dad already. He has a son Ben.

Then he got married for the second time in season 4 to a girl named Emily, but when he was saying his wedding vow, he accidentally said Rachel's name instead of hers, so she immediately divorced him. And his last wife was Rachel, but it happened very wildly, they were very drunk, and they got married in Las Vegas, so they also divorced in season 6. His divorces become a running joke within the series.

He became a father twice. His second child, Emma, is with Rachel after a one-night stand. It happened in season 8. They are co-parenting, but they still don't get together. They finally admit they are still in love with each other in the series finale.
