Göreme

Göreme in Cappadocia in Turkey. It has over 2,000 people which is not a lot. I found out about this city and I fell in love. It's really different from other cities in my project so that's why I chose it. There are not many things about this town on the internet but I will try to tell you the best I can.

Hiking is very famous in Cappadocia. The Sharp sandstone ridges glow a deep, vibrant red as the sun burns into the unique landscape in the last moments of the sunset each night. The Rose Valley is a hiking trail which winds through a unique area. What makes the Rose Valley one of the most unique places to visit in Cappadocia is that not only do you have these incredible rock formations but in this particular region, the minerals in the sandstone have a pink tinge.

The hotels in Göreme are really beautiful. They have cave hotels. Rooms carved into mountain sides or rock pillars. For example, the hotel Hanzade Suites is the most beautiful. It is located right off the main street in Göreme and is within walking distance to the Göreme Sunset Point.

Hot air ballooning is the most popular to do there. Over 100 balloons fly every morning. You can Admire the stunning landscape of Cappadocia from a hot air balloon at sunrise on this tour. Depart from your hotel in an air-conditioned minivan and make your way to Göreme.

And that's it. That's all I know about this small city. This is a big reason why I want to visit it because I want to get to know it more.
