THE UNDENIABLE KING OF TENNIS: ROGER FEDERER
Jiří Kračman
The Swiss Maestro Roger Federer has been dominating the Men's tennis circuit for almost two decades at this point, and I don't think there's any doubt about the fact, that he is the greatest player to ever set foot on a tennis court.
He is one of the most respected athletes in the world and the respect is very well deserved. Not only is he a brilliant tennis player, but also a very humble and charismatic person. In my opinion the Swiss sportsman represents a perfect role model for any kid across the globe. He established the Roger Federer foundation, that provides education for kids in poor African communities. The foundation already helped over 1 million children in need.
During his tennis career he achieved basically everything he could. He won 20 Grand slams (major tournaments, that take place 4 times a year), which is the most anyone has ever managed to win and his feat likely won't be surpassed in the near future. His game is always very elegant and graceful. He outdoes his opponents with the power of his forehand and the certitude of his signature one-hand backhand. It's always a pleasure to watch him play, which is besides his irresistible charisma the reason he's been voted the fan's favorite for 15 straight years.
His greatest rival is the Spanish matador Rafael Nadal, who opposed Roger and kept him ,,in check'', because if it wasn't for him, Federer would absolutely dominate the tennis world. Despite being foes on the court, they are very good friends and in my opinion they represent the greatest rivalry across all sports.
