Uncharted
No matter If you watched Indiana Jones, Peter Pan or Da Vinci code, everyone as a child wanted to be a pirate or treasure hunter at some point. But now, you actually can.
Uncharted is a game series for playstation created by Naughty dog, a studio that brought us for example The Last of Us or Crash Bandicoot. It contains five main games, the first one got released in 2007 and so far the last one in 2017.
The story is basically similar to Indiana Jones movies and has that kind of vibe. The main protagonist is Nathan Drake, self-proclaimed successor of Sir Francis Drake, but unlike Indiana Jones, Nathan isn't really an angel and has good sense of humor. Although most of his "historical researches" aren't really legal, he's still a good guy and saves the world many times. He's accompanied by Victor Sullivan aka Sully, his big mentor and a little bit of a father figure. During the story of the first game, Nathan meets a courageous journalist Elena Fisher and later they fall in love. Nathan also has friends that help him with his researches, for example Chloe Frazer or Charlie Cutter.
Throughout the games they go through many adventures. The games are mostly always bound with some historical figures like Francis Drake, Marco Polo, T.E. Lawrence, Henry Avery and more. In the first game Nathan Drake discovers the fable of el Dorado plus the corpse of Francis Drake. In the second game he goes to the Himalayas and discovers the mythical Shambala. In the third game Nathan Drake finds "Atlantis of the sand" in the middle of the Rub' al Khali desert. And in the fourth he discovers an old secret pirate colony in Madagascar.
After these many adventure Nathan settles down with his wife Elena Fisher and after some time they have a daughter Cassie. But don't think that despite the fact they settle they have ordinary life, because they don't. They continue in they archeological researches, but only in the legal ones. They actually become quite famous and even appear on front pages of few magazines.
This is where the story of Nathan Drake ends and the story of Chloe Frazer begins. In the last game Chloe with help of Nathan's brother Sam gets the tusk of Ganesha.
I would recommend this game for everyone, because it's a classic masterpiece and who knows maybe it can develop your passion for history and archeology.
