Wednesday is one of the newest Netflix series based on the character Wednesday Addams by Charles Addams, who first appeared in The New Yorker in 1938. She has been played by many actresses throughout time, but the most popular is the one played by Jenna Ortega, just in the newest series from Netflix. But I don't wanna talk about the show itself, but more likely about some fun facts about it.

1. Wednesday with 1.23 billion hours, the 3rd most watched Netflix show right after Squid Game season 1 and Stranger Things season 4.

2. Actress Christina Ricci, who played Ms Marilyn Thornhill, the only "normie" teacher on Nevermore, became popular thanks to her role as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family movies from 1991 to 1993.

3. Actor Hunter Doohan, who played Tyler Galpin, Wednesday’s first love interest, is happily married to his husband in real life.

4. It was Tim Burton's third project, including the Addams family.

5. The series was shot in Romania.

6. Jenna Ortega also couldn't blink while filming, so she learned to blink on other people's lines.

7. People who saw The Addams Family movies can also catch some references towards these movies.

8. The blood shower scene at the dance was promised to the makeup and hair teams to be filmed in a single shot, but after the first try, it was clear that it's gonna be harder than that.

9. Jenna Ortega even cut her bangs for her role and learned to play the cello, speak German and fence.

10. It also got very popular with the song "Bloody Mary" by Lady Gaga from 2011, which doesn't even appear in the show. Especially with the iconic scene of Wednesday dancing.

11. This iconic dance was put together by Jenna Ortega herself.

12. The dance got very popular, especially on TikTok, and as so many people kept remaking it, even Lady Gaga herself posted a video of remaking it.

13. This dance was recreated even on the ice by 16-year-old figure skater Kamila Valieva at the 2023 Russian Figure Skating Championships. She even dressed up looking like Jenna's Wednesday. Her performance started with Wednesday's theme music, then switched to The Cramps' "Goo Goo Muck", the original song to this dance, and ended with Gaga's“Bloody Mary”.
